Empowering Families Through Comprehensive Support

Our programs are designed to address the unique challenges faced by Black and Indigenous families with children with disabilities, providing holistic support from storytelling to end-of-life planning.

Storytelling & Data Collection

Amplifying family voices to drive systematic change

We're interviewing families of children with disabilities to create meaningful change and provide support. Through these powerful conversations, we're building a foundation for advocacy and systematic transformation.

  • Increase awareness of racism, medical racism, ableism, classism, and childism.
  • Engage the outside community as a call for support.
  • Create financial incentives for families with special needs children.
  • Use this information as a form of data collection to drive systematic change.

Medical Supply Hub

Essential supplies to ease financial burdens

  • Offer families access to essential medical supplies that will help offset their financial burden.

In-Person & Virtual Support Groups

Safe spaces for connection and mutual support

Connect with other families who understand your journey. Our support groups offer both in-person and virtual options to ensure accessibility for all families.

  • To offer emotional and mental support by creating safe and accessible spaces for Black families with children with special needs to connect with each other.
  • Create networks of mutual support and aid (in connection with the medical supply hub) and reduce feelings of isolation.

Collective Care

Hands-on support for daily living and transitions

Practical, hands-on support for families during critical transitions and overwhelming moments. We help create functional, comfortable home environments tailored to each family's needs.

  • Supporting families as they’re transitioning from the hospital to the home space. Organizing the home space in a way that makes sense for the family.
  • Supporting families who may be overwhelmed with daily care and need someone to come in and assist with cleaning/organizing.
